Our organically crafted Squalane Oil is a pure, single-ingredient product sourced naturally from non-GMO plant source: Olive Oil. Squalane is a poly-unsaturated hydrocarbon liquid that iss found naturally in many animals and plants, including human sebum. Essentially, it is one of the many natural lipids our body produces to lubricate and protect our skin.

Although both Squalene and Squalane have been used in cosmetics and skincare products since the 1900s, these were first mainly obtained from animal sources. Its production from sustainable and renewable alternatives in the last decades has contributed to the increase in their usage, especially in natural cosmetics. Our preservative-free plant-based Olive Phytosqualane is a completely safe ingredient for uses in skincare and personal care products. Squalane is known to increase the luminosity and vibrancy of skin, lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and even help reduce redness.
