Vitamin A and Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) have a synergistic relationship by which they boost each others performance and efficacy. Consider adding 1% – 2% Niacinamide to any products containing Retinyl Palmitate. It would also be useful to add natural vitamin E to such a formulation,

Please note that the maximum usage of Retinyl Palmitate allowed in leave on skincare products is 1%, but in order to increase the potency of your finished product, consider using bakuchiol oil in the heated oil phase of a cream or lotion. Bakuchiol Oil mimics the action of Retinyl Palmitate.

Incorporation of Vitamin A powder will tint your cream / lotion a pale yellow.

When incorporating Retinyl Palmitate into a cream or lotion we recommend adding the powder shortly after creating the emulsion and use a stick blender to blend the powder consistently throughout otherwise the powder will tend to clump.
